The YET seeks a creative and enthusiastic individual to take on an exciting new role of fund raiser, to raise and source funds to enable YET to continue and expand its valued work in providing grants to young people undertaking expeditions. This role is a commission based role (rate negotiable).
Currently the YET awards up to 25 grants annually to young people up to the age of 19 years, but receives some 180 applications; grants currently range from £150 to £500. However, the YET strives to provide more deserving young people with suitable grants, but in order to do this additional funding is required.
Potential fund raiser candidates will have a strong belief in YET’s aim to encourage young people to take part in challenging ventures.
